About us
Center Christian Church is a New Testament Church committed to the Great Commandment (loving God and loving others), and the Great Commission (to make mature disciples who know Christ, are growing in Christ, are showing the love of Christ, and are going and making more Disciples of Christ).
Vision:
Know – Grow – Show – Go
To make mature disciples who know Christ, are growing in Christ, are showing the love of Christ, and are going and making more Disciples of Christ.
Mission:
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV)

What We Believe:
-
We believe in one God the father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
-
We believe God created all things.
-
We believe Jesus Christ is God's one and only son.
-
We believe Jesus died, was buried, and rose in bodily form.
-
We believe Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father.
-
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells in every Christian.
-
We believe the Bible is God's Holy Word.
-
We believe the Bible is the final authority for all matters of faith and practice.
-
We believe man willfully sinned against God and is lost apart from Jesus Christ.
-
We believe that salvation is received by God's grace through faith in Christ, repenting sins, confessing Christ, and being baptized (immersed) into Christ for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit; but that none of these is sufficient in and of itself for the assurance of salvation.
-
We believe the church was founded on the day of Pentecost and consists of all Christians everywhere.
-
We believe the Elders are to exercise Biblical oversight over the local congregation.
