Students

Our Student team has two distinct phases: Jr High (grades 6th, 7th, and 8th) and High School. I am thrilled you are here and have taken the time for find out more about who we are.

Jr High, called 678, gathers after church till 2:30 pm during the school year for lunch, fun, and lesson time.  High School, grades 9 through 12, meet at 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm every Sunday night during the school year.  We gather weekly for one purpose – to equip students to own their own faith and join God on mission.

While each phase looks different, we gather for fun, time with friends and to be challenged to grow in our faith.  By the time you graduate from High School, we want to do everything possible to help you see the world as a mission field.  We want you to be wise and develop your leadership skills, but most importantly we want you to experience a real and authentic faith in Jesus Christ.

Youth and Family

Welcome to the Youth and Family page for Center Christian Church.  Our desire above every other desire is to partner with parents to grow this next generation into true followers of Jesus.  Discipling kids into a relationship with Jesus happens differently at each age.  That is why we have three distinct phases, yet one ministry to you, your kids, and the family as a whole.

Early Childhood

Our Early Childhood team is committed to showing the love of our heavenly father to your precious child.  We believe that this first experience for you as a parent is important as well.  Our nursery and toddler rooms are conveniently located right across from the sanctuary to allow you to connect in a meaningful personal worship experience. Our 2 through 5-year-old rooms are located upstairs, in Rooms 205 and 206 . These rooms are open during Sunday School and Second Service.

Our 3 Big Truths for Early Childhood are God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Elementary - 6th Grade

Elementary Ministry exists to help kids understand the basics of faith in Jesus Christ.  Kindergarten through 6th graders are an amazing group.  During this phase, kids continue to develop an understanding of who God is and (here is the exciting part) who THEY are because of Jesus.  Our elementary classes and small groups are available during Sunday School and Second Service, and are located upstairs in rooms 201 - 204.   We are using the Answers in Genesis curriculum, which moves systematically through the Bible in 4 years, beginning in Genesis.

Our theme verse is Luke 2:52 –

“… Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” This is how Jesus grew up. We want our kids to follow in His footsteps. From this verse, we draw our 3 Big Truths: Faith, Wisdom, and Friendship.

7th - High School

Our Student group consists of 7th Graders thru High School. I am thrilled you are here and have taken the time for find out more about who we are.  During the Sunday School hour, we meet in Room 301.

High School Youth Group, grades 9 through 12, meets from 6:00-8:00 pm on Sundays, during the school year, for lessons and small group.

Parents and Families

We understand that parenting today is HARD.  You need support, you need love, you need to know that you are not alone.  That is why at Center we are committed to partnering with you.

Married, single, blended, traditional, we know that every family is unique.  We want to honor those differences and celebrate the grace, truth, and love Jesus provides to our families.  We stand on God's Word for our ultimate guide to our families.
