Coming up on this Thanksgiving holiday weekend, I want to encourage you to lead your families in worship together. There are a hundred and one different ways you can do this.
It could involve:
singing together
reading your favorite scriptures together
talking about what you are thankful for and intentionally going to God in prayer and thanksgiving for it
making beautiful pieces of homemade/handmade art expressing your thankfulness to God
serving at a soup kitchen
finding opportunities to talk together about the amazing gospel of Jesus
Whatever you do, rather than letting your time get caught up in business, take some time to slow down and give honor and glory to whom it is due.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Praise Him all Creatures here below.
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host.
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen
