Vessels of Hope, Love and Care

It is with a sad heart I write to you today. We have experienced quite a few losses in the past week or so. I wanted to take a few moments and write to you from a pastoral prospective. Specifically, I want to equip you with a few tools to help others grieve.

Grief is a good and Godly process. In our broken world, we do experience loss. Yet, in our broken humanity, God has an opportunity. Through loss, God can and does move through us to be a vessel of hope, love, and care. As Darryl shared at Marc Ellis' funeral, we serve the one true God, the God of all comfort - 2 Corinthians 1:3-5.

Here are a few ways to allow God to move through you as you help others, particularly kids and students:
