Our second annual Prayer Partner Program is in full swing. Again, unity is the goal! This program encourages our adults to actively pray daily for our grade school, junior high and high school students. God's word in Malachi 4:6 is being fulfilled, "… turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents …”. A BIG thank you to all our prayer partners and families who have been involved in this program in any way.
An advertisement on the side of a plumber's van in South Africa read: There is no place too deep, too dark or too dirty for us to handle.
I don’t know about you, but that would be one of the most challenging jobs to have. Most of us don’t want depth, dark or dirt at all, let alone to the extent to which this plumber was willing to go. You talk about Messy!...
You have been given a new Identity that it is time to lay claim to. If you are an immersed believer and
follower of Jesus Christ, you have been called sons, heirs, daughters of God. As we come together this week for the end of this Messy Grace series, we will be talking about this identity together. Don't let anything strip you of this knowledge. Sing these songs to help remember who, and whose, you are!
As we prepare for this next time together in the Messy Grace series, lets take a minute to prepare our hearts for the reality of the immense love of Christ. as Jesus said "Greater love has no man than this, that he would lay down his life for a friend."
As we come into Sunday morning lets sing these songs but lets also practice this kind of amazing unconditional love.
With current hardships from hurricanes Harvey and Irma, we many times feel burdened to pray, but don’t know how to pray. Here is a scriptural guide from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association that will help us pray for the victims as well as for the relief efforts.
Bless those who mourn and comfort them. Matthew 5:4
Turn their mourning to joy; help them rejoice rather than sorrow. Jeremiah 31:13
Strengthen them with all power, according to Your glorious might, for all enduranc...

A few weeks ago I was given the privilege of preaching on promotion Sunday. I am thrilled to report that after a few bumps in the road, which happens every year, we are building momentum in all ages. Relationally, spiritually, and physically our kids are growing up right before out eyes.
God laid it on my heart to begin to shift focus this year. And the focus is YOU - the parents. We know that you have more influence over a lifetime than any other person on the planet. For better or wo...
So a few of us from the worship ministry just got to attend the Connect Worship Conference held by Cincinnati Christian University. The singing, led by Shane and Shane, was deep and meaningful and full of scripture. The time was filled with prayer and scripture and wisdom. All and all it was a time of renewal and refreshment.
In one of the breakout sessions I got to attend, two guiding questions for life were presented that I would like to share. 1) What do you desire/love? 2) Who are yo...
