Church Family, would you join me in prayer this summer?  There are a few things happening and in the works that we would love to have you join with us in prayer over.

Over the next few months, we want to put together a worship ministry team that has a heart to plan and execute dynamic worship experiences for our church body.  When planning within the worship arts (really the arts of any kind), it is so beneficial to have a range of input.  There are also so many moving parts leading to any given...

Change is not easy.  Can I get an amen to that?  As I am climbing the age ladder to halfway to 90, I am realizing the older you get the harder it is to adapt to change.  That doesn’t give us an excuse to resist change because some change is good.  On the other side though, we should never change just for the sake of change.

I cannot even imagine what the Christians went through in the first century who were raised in Judaism.  Their whole life was spent seeing God a certain way and...

As I write, there is snow on the ground.  Which makes this next statement very difficult to get my mind around.  Summer is right around the corner.  Yes, yes, cue laughter.

In all reality, now is the time for Mahoning Valley Camp and VBS to be on the front burner.  So here are the details you need to know:

CAMP:  Camp this year will focus on Evangelism.  Think of it this way...if our faith and freedom in Jesus Christ is as good as we say, why would we not SHARE?  We have camps...

Life Groups ... Do Life Together

Have you ever thought, "Wow, I wish I had someone to share this victory with"; or "I wish I had someone who knew me and my overwhelming situation and could listen and pray for me."

Life Groups, or Small Groups as they are sometimes called, provide an avenue to be Connected, Loved, and Encouraged.  Life Groups also have avenues of Service.

Center Christian Church has several groups that meet regularly.  If you would like more information, please contact Darryl Denney...

Several months ago I needed a new pair of jeans.  My favorite pair had become unwearable.  My first mistake was going to look for new jeans by myself.  I usually take one of my teen daughters with me, as I tend to panic when I shop by myself and make questionable purchases.  This situation was no different.

My second mistake was going into a store that I used to shop for jeans at 20 years ago, but now only those 20 and younger shop there.  I believe I look young for 45 years old, b...

“It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour, for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two.  Jesus called out with a loud voice, ‘Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.’  When he had said this, he breathed his last.  The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God and said, ‘Surely this was a righteous man.’  When all the people who had gathered to witness this sight saw what took place, they beat their brea...
